Bring a little night-time magic to your rucksack, jacket or camping blanket with this Grey Long-Eared Bat embroidered iron-on patch. Lovingly made by Ray, it’s a simple way to show your love for wildlife while keeping your kit looking fresh.

These patches pretty much do what they say on the tin (tin not included). Set your iron to cotton heat (no steam), cover with a cloth, press firmly for around 40 seconds, then flip and heat the underside for 30 seconds. Let it cool completely before moving the fabric. For bags or frequently washed items, a few stitches around the edge helps it stay put.

Why you’ll love it:

  • Easy iron-on with clear, no-fuss instructions
  • Made with care by Ray
  • Organic materials in our range, chosen with nature in mind
  • Rewilding support as we sponsor rewilding and conservation charities

Bat fact: Grey long-eared bats can locate prey by listening for insects moving in vegetation, then pick them off leaves and stems.

Product Info

These embroidered iron-on patches are lovingly made by Ray, and they pretty much do what they say on the tin (tin not included)!

Here are some instructions, please give us a shout if you have any issues:

  • Get Ready: Clean the fabric and set your iron to a "cotton" heat level (no steam).
  • Press: Cover the patch with a cloth and hold the iron down firmly for roughly 40 seconds.
  • Flip: Turn the garment over and heat the underside for 30 seconds to lock the glue.
  • Set: Let it cool down entirely before moving the fabric.
  • Pro Tip: If you're putting this on a bag or something you wash a lot, adding a few stitches around the edge will make it permanent.
