Handmade by Paul with care and a love for nature, these Butterfly Refreshments stations offer a welcoming sip spot for some of our most delicate pollinators. Made from natural wood and topped with a clay dish in vibrant colours, they bring both beauty and benefit to your outdoor space.

Butterflies are often overlooked when it comes to hydration, but they need minerals and moisture to thrive - especially during warm, dry spells. These stations offer exactly that: a safe and nourishing place for butterflies to pause, sip, and soak up what they need to stay strong and active.

How to position and use:

Place your Butterfly Refreshments station in a sunny, sheltered area: somewhere warm and calm, ideally near nectar-rich plants like buddleia, lavender or verbena. Fill the dish with a mix of water and overripe fruit slices (bananas, oranges or strawberries work well) or a shallow sugar-water solution (1 part sugar to 10 parts water - no artificial sweeteners). A few small stones or bits of sponge will give butterflies something safe to perch on.

Avoid using honey, and never add salt, as both can harm butterflies. Refresh the contents every couple of days to keep things clean and inviting. Try to keep the station out of reach of curious pets.
