Encourage evening biodiversity with our Bat Mix Seed Balls, specially selected to support Britain’s bat population by attracting the insects they feed on. This wildflower blend is made up of species known to release fragrance at dusk and includes a variety of shapes, colours and pollen tubes—designed to draw in a wide range of night-flying insects.

Each tin holds 20 seed balls, handmade in the UK using a mix of clay, peat-free compost, chilli powder and approximately 30 seeds per ball. You’ll find borage, cornflower, corn marigold, evening primrose, wallflower, and night-scented stock inside—plants that provide both beauty and benefit.

Ideal for scattering in borders or pots in spring or autumn, these seed balls help rewild even the smallest spaces. They’re a simple, effective way to create a nourishing environment for wildlife after the sun goes down.

Product Info

Each tin contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 square metre in a garden, or 3-5 medium sized pots.

Each ball contains approximately 30 seeds per ball from a mix to support the relevant creatures.
